Lynn has been dreaming of a long-ago ex since she moved to Japan twelve years ago. The relationship had not been healthy, and she certainly does not want the ex in her life now, so why does she plead with him to get back together in this dream?
The ex has featured in various recurring dreams, all with unresolved endings, and Lynn is curious. She wonders if the dream is about the ex, or whether he is thinking of her, or whether the whole dream is symbolic – and has nothing to do with the past relationship.
